Twelve questions · about five minutes
What are you carrying?
Three minutes, before you start.
Most people I sit with are carrying an enormous amount and have been for years. It's usually holding. What they can't tell is whether it's still holding well, or whether something has started to give and they've got used to it.
These twelve questions are about three things. How much of what you do only works because you're the one doing it. What comes out that you didn't put in. And what you believe it would cost to put any of it down.
Answer them about whatever it is you're actually carrying. For some people that's a business. For others it's a family, a practice, a household, or something they've held together for years without ever naming it. It works the same either way.
There's no score at the end and nothing to compare yourself to. You'll get a few paragraphs about where you actually are, and you'll get them whether or not you give me your email.

Done. It's on its way to your inbox now. If it hasn't landed in a few minutes, check the promotions tab, and if it's not there either just email me and I'll send it myself.
And if you finished that thinking there's more in you than it got to, ask me for an hour. Twelve questions can only reach so far.
Or if you'd rather talk than write, send me a voice note. It comes to me the same way.
Or send me a voice note if that's easier than writing it down.
