What happens in a session

Each session follows a consistent arc.

It varies in content, but the shape stays the same.

We start with arrival and grounding. A few minutes to settle, get out of the head, and into the room. Then a brief instruction or intention for the session. Then the breathwork itself, guided, with music, at your own pace throughout. Then integration. We don't rush you off the mat. What comes up deserves time to land.

60 minutes total. Comfortable clothing. Your mat.

Most people notice the shift before the session is even finished.

Your yoga mat. A bolster or pillow if you have one. A blanket if you run cold. Comfortable clothing you can breathe in. Water.

No prior experience required. No particular fitness level. Come as you are.

What people notice

When I walked into my first breathwork with Max Latimer, I was feeling nervous and heavy under the weight of everyday life. Max welcomed me to the space, which had an amazing calming feel to it and instantly the nervousness left me. Under the gentle guidance of Max my breathwork journey began and became a tool I use every day. The sessions assisted me to block out the noise and make some life changing decisions. I will be forever grateful to Max and the other participants that made up our breathwork community.

Sam McKnight

The calmness in my mind after finishing each session really makes me realise how quiet my mind is probably supposed to be all the time.

Ricky — Engineer

I've been attending Max's breathwork class for a while now, and it's made a huge difference in how I manage stress and stay calm in tough situations. Max creates such a supportive and calming space.

Rachel — Sales

In my role as a police officer, the pressure and unpredictability can be overwhelming. Max's breathwork techniques have given me a powerful tool to ground myself in high-stress situations. I've found that I'm more present, more composed, and better able to respond rather than react.

Emma — Police Officer

These sessions have been the key to tapping into a quiet place in my mind that I'm not sure I've ever experienced before.

Common questions

Before you come.

Similar destination, different doorway. Instead of trying to think your way to stillness, we use the body first. Most people who can't meditate find breathwork much easier to access.
None. The session is designed for people at every stage, from complete beginners to regular practitioners.
The most common experiences: a calmer body, a quieter mind, warmth or tingling in the hands, emotional release, and a grounded sense of clarity. Some people feel a lot. Some feel subtle. Both are completely normal.
If you're pregnant, or have cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, glaucoma, or severe psychiatric conditions, please check with your healthcare provider first and let me know before the session.
$25 a session, booked online. One session at a time. There are no packs and no memberships to sign up to, so you come the weeks that suit you.

Privately, one to one

Two ways in.

Most people come to breathwork with something specific. A mind that won't go quiet. Stress that isn't clearing. Or something older, underneath, that they can feel but can't quite reach.

One to one, the hour is built around whatever you walked in with. No group to keep pace with. No version of yourself to hold together. Just you, the breath, and me alongside you while you do the work.

There are two ways in. A Reset Session, for when you need the noise to come down. Transformational Breathwork, for when you're ready to go further than that. Start wherever you actually are.

Underneath both is the same work. Becoming a grounded and centred human. Self-led. Self-guided. Moving through your days with self-belief, trust and alignment to what's actually true for you.

Breathwork is far more grounding, supportive, and transformative than you expect — and the benefits ripple into every part of your life.

Reset Session · $120 · 1 hour

For when you can't switch off.

Some weeks, the mind won't go quiet. The thinking doesn't stop, the stress doesn't drop, and sleep doesn't clear the exhaustion.

Breathwork is the way in.

Slow the breath, lengthen the exhale, and the nervous system comes out of fight or flight on its own. The mind follows the body down.

It's the same breath-flow as the weekly group sessions, just yours alone. Good if a room full of people feels like a lot, or if you simply want the hour to be about you.

You don't need any experience, and you don't need to be in a bad way to come. A reset is a reset. That's a real and good reason on its own.

I have a place to go now, internally, where I can calm myself and get better access to my intuition.

Transformational Breathwork · $250 · 1.5 to 2 hours

For what thinking can't reach.

There's a kind of stuck that doesn't move with thinking. You've turned it over, talked it through, understood it from every angle. And it's still there. A pattern. A grief. A weight you can feel but can't quite name.

Transformational Breathwork is the deeper work. A longer, held session, an hour and a half to two hours, with room for the breath to take you past the thinking mind and into what sits underneath it.

This is Conscious Connected Breathwork. A continuous, circular breath that, given enough time, quietens the part of the mind that narrates and manages and keeps everything in order. When that goes quiet, what has been waiting underneath gets the space to surface.

I can't tell you what that will be. That's not how this works, and anyone who promises you a particular outcome is selling you something. What I can tell you is that the breath brings up what's ready, and no more than that. My job is to hold the space, steady and safe, while your own system does what it knows how to do.

Because the work goes deep, there's a full intake before your first session. A real conversation, so I understand what you're carrying and we both know the breath is the right tool for you right now. And it doesn't end when the session does. Three days later, once things have had time to settle, we talk again. A short call to integrate what surfaced.

This is trauma-informed work. It is not therapy, and it is not a replacement for it. It is the breath, a long held session, and what your own body has been waiting to move.

Flow Institute Australia — Level 2 Accredited Breathwork Facilitator

I discovered that there were some deeper things happening within me that I hadn't realised needed attention or release. Breathwork brought some of those emotions and patterns to the surface, making me aware of things I didn't even know I was holding onto.

If cost is the thing in the way

Money shouldn't be the reason someone who needs this work goes without it.

So each month I keep a couple of spots open for people the price genuinely isn't possible for right now. You pay what you honestly can. If that's nothing right now, that's okay too.

No form, no means test. I'm not going to ask you to prove anything. If cost is the thing standing between you and a session, just say so. The honesty is the whole of it.

These spots are held open by people who pay it forward to support the wider community. It's how the door stays open for everyone.

Write a sentence or two. I'll reply personally.

Just fucking do it mate, seriously I wish I had looked after myself years ago. What have you got to lose, nothing apart from an hour of your time, but you have lots to gain.
